“If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.”

~ Henry David Thoreau

We are a journal of print poetry and prose dedicated to emerging writers and their words now in our 4th year of publication. We aim to publish new and emerging writers.

We love, prefer free verse and flash fiction–words with passion, voice, and place. We look for succinct images and dialogue that linger, narrative that we can take with us to bed at night, ideas used in magnificent ways. Bring us your castles.

Reading periods are scheduled from July 1st to August 15th. We will feature an annual print issue in November. We are a paying market. We currently pay $10 per poem and $0.01 per word for stories. All contributors will also receive one copy of the issue their work appears in.
