All these oceans

by K.A. Honeywell

You insist there’s an ocean in both of my breasts, in my biceps and my thighs, under every surface you lay your head. There are tides wherever you curl against me and waves in the shell of your ear.
All these oceans as strong as any heart.
It’s too many, you say.
And it’s true. I am bursting.

K.A. Honeywell lives in the Pacific Northwest and she wrote a novel called Damn Wilds. She can be found online at and on Twitter @kahoneywell.
