We’ve Been Successful…

We’ve been really successful over the past few weeks. We are up to 8 contributors with a total of 23 poems between them! There’s still time to be a part of the inaugural issue of Emerge Literary Journal. Submissions are open until January 15th for the inaugural issue. All other submissions will be considered for our April electronic publication. As always, and poem accepted for publication is eligible for selection in our June print journal. Step right up and check us out. So many new voices ready to be heard. It’s so exciting!

Things Are Rolling…

It has been an exciting time here at Emerge Literary Journal! Our recent call for submissions with NewPages has been very successful, and the submissions keep rolling in. Over the past 24 hours, we have added three new contributors and accepted four new poems for our inaugural issue, which is slated to electronically appear in February 2012. Please check out our Upcoming Contributors page and welcome our contributors. While your at it, check out our Submission Guidelines to see how you can become a contributor for our upcoming issue. The sample poem up at The Journal is a taste of what we’ve accepted and what we’re looking for.

Please Join Us…

We have a brand new upcoming contributor bio at Emerge. We’d like to give a warm welcome to Emily Wilensky. So honored to have her with us. She joins Bob Putnam and Matthew John Davies. If you haven’t already done so, check out The Journal. There you can find Bob Putnam’s “Superman Proposes Near the Balustrade Overlooking Brown Pelicans”: just a taste of things to come. Oh, and don’t forget to visit our Submission Guidelines to see how you can join our growing list of contributors.
